- Chamber volume, pressure, temperature and power are confirmed per model on the data sheet sent with the quotation.
This collection lists every vertical autoclave we supply to hospitals, clinics, laboratories and equipment distributors: 38 top-loading pressure steam sterilizers, from the HP-N07 to HP-N23 cabinet models to the P-series laboratory versions with drying or pulse-vacuum air removal. It is the vertical part of our autoclave and steam sterilizer range.
How to choose a vertical steam sterilizer
- Cabinet design (HP-N07 to HP-N23). The 17 HP-N models come in three designs that differ in how the lid closes and where the controls sit: HP-N07 to HP-N12 have a top lid held by several clamp knobs around the rim, a front pressure gauge and a digital control panel; HP-N13 to HP-N16 close with a single hand wheel and carry the gauge, digital display and keypad on the front panel; HP-N17 to HP-N23 combine a hand-wheel lid with a control panel on the upper side of the cabinet and perforated lower panels. All three load from the top and stand on castor wheels.
- Version (HP-P01 to HP-P22). The 21 HP-P laboratory models are sold in five versions whose names state the function: Spiral (HP-P01 to HP-P06), Normal or standard (HP-P07 to HP-P10), Dry (HP-P11 to HP-P14), Drying Internal Circulation (HP-P16 to HP-P18) and Pulse-Vacuum (HP-P19 to HP-P22). The Normal and Dry versions are shown with one product photo, so the version name is what separates them; the Drying Internal Circulation and Pulse-Vacuum versions also share a photo.
- Pulse-vacuum or not. A pulse-vacuum sterilizer removes air from the chamber in repeated vacuum and steam pulses before sterilizing, which wrapped sets, textiles, porous and hollow loads need; HP-P19 to HP-P22 are the vertical models whose name specifies pulse vacuum. The air-removal method of models without that designation is confirmed on the data sheet. Routine air-removal and leak tests apply to any vacuum sterilizer. For bench-sized pulse-vacuum units see the tabletop autoclaves.
- Drying. Loads that are stored after sterilization must come out dry. Two versions include a drying stage: Dry (HP-P11 to HP-P14), whose drying stage runs after sterilization so packs leave the chamber ready to store, and Drying Internal Circulation (HP-P16 to HP-P18), which dries by internal circulation. Drying method, time and temperature settings are confirmed on the data sheet; whether a Pulse-Vacuum model runs a post-vacuum drying stage is also stated there. Liquid loads need a slow-exhaust cycle rather than a drying cycle, so tell us if you sterilize media or bottled liquids.
- Capacity and power. Chamber volume, pressure, temperature, power and dimensions are confirmed per model on the data sheet sent with the quotation. Size the chamber to your largest routine load with space for steam and drying to work; overloading slows drying as well as sterilization. State your mains voltage, frequency and plug type with the inquiry. If instrument trays, linen and drums outgrow the vertical format, the front-loading horizontal steam sterilizers are the next step.

Vertical steam sterilizers for distributors, hospitals and laboratories
We quote vertical autoclaves to equipment distributors, hospitals, clinics and laboratories by model and quantity. Each quotation lists the machine, the baskets and accessories included, spare parts such as gaskets, fuses and heating elements, packing and the documents for the destination market; MOQ and lead time are stated on the quotation. Certificates, declarations of conformity and test reports for the specific product and destination market are provided with the quotation. When you request a quote, tell us the load types (solid, wrapped, hollow, liquids or waste), the chamber volume or basket sizes you need, cycles per day, the mains voltage, frequency and plug type, and the destination country.
Frequently asked questions
+Which vertical autoclave should a laboratory choose?
Start from the loads. Glassware, media and bagged waste run on the Spiral (HP-P01 to HP-P06) or Normal (HP-P07 to HP-P10) versions; glassware that must come out dry calls for the Dry or Drying Internal Circulation versions; wrapped or porous packs need the Pulse-Vacuum version (HP-P19 to HP-P22). Send your load list and we will propose models.
+What is the difference between the HP-N and HP-P vertical models?
HP-N07 to HP-N23 are cabinet models grouped by design: multi-clamp lid (HP-N07 to HP-N12), hand-wheel lid with front controls (HP-N13 to HP-N16) or hand-wheel lid with a side control panel (HP-N17 to HP-N23). HP-P01 to HP-P22 are laboratory models grouped by version: Spiral, Normal, Dry, Drying Internal Circulation and Pulse-Vacuum.
+Do the vertical autoclaves have a drying function?
The Dry version (HP-P11 to HP-P14) and the Drying Internal Circulation version (HP-P16 to HP-P18) carry a drying function in their model names; the two use different drying designations, so ask for both data sheets if drying speed matters. For the other models, drying settings and any post-vacuum drying stage are confirmed on the data sheet.
+What chamber volumes are available?
Each design group and version is offered in several models, and the chamber volume, pressure, temperature, power and dimensions of each one are confirmed on the data sheet sent with the quotation. Tell us your largest basket or drum, the tallest flask and the loads per day, and we will match the model.
+Can vertical autoclaves be shipped with other equipment?
Yes. Vertical models can be quoted and shipped in one consolidated order with our portable, table top and horizontal sterilizers and other HOPE INTERNATIONAL equipment. Packing, crate dimensions and freight are confirmed with the quotation.
+What should a vertical autoclave quote request include?
The models you are comparing, quantity, load types (solid, wrapped, hollow, liquids or waste), cycles per day, the mains voltage, frequency and plug type, spare parts you want shipped with the units, and the destination country so the document set matches your registration or import requirements.
