HP-P19 vertical pulse vacuum autoclave

HP-P19 Vertical Pulse Vacuum Autoclave

HP-P19 is the first model in the Pulse-Vacuum version of our vertical line, for wrapped, porous and hollow loads.

Price, lead time and documents for your market are confirmed in the quotation.

Key takeaways

  • HP-P19 is the first of four vertical pulse vacuum autoclaves, HP-P19 to HP-P22.
  • Pulse vacuum removes air in repeated vacuum and steam pulses, so steam reaches wrapped, porous and hollow items.
  • Vacuum pulses, vacuum level, steam source and drying are confirmed on the HP-P19 data sheet; air-removal tests are part of routine use of any vacuum sterilizer.

HP-P19 is the first model in the Pulse-Vacuum version of our vertical line: a vertical pulse vacuum autoclave with an upright, top-loading chamber. A pulse vacuum sterilizer removes air before sterilization, which gravity-type units cannot do reliably for wrapped, porous or hollow loads.

Compared with the Normal, Dry and Drying Internal Circulation versions, HP-P19 is the vertical model whose name specifies pulse vacuum. For bench use, the same pulse-vacuum designation is available in our table top range, HP-P32 to HP-P38.

Key Features

  • Vertical pulse vacuum steam sterilizer, top loading
  • Pulse-Vacuum version, model HP-P19
  • Air removal by repeated vacuum pulses before sterilization
  • Data sheet with vacuum pulses, vacuum level, cycle programs and drying

Applications

Loads that call for a pulse vacuum sterilizer or vacuum autoclave machine:

  • Wrapped surgical instrument sets
  • Porous loads: gowns, drapes and dressings
  • Hollow instruments and tubing

How to specify when requesting a quote

  1. Load types, especially wrapped, porous and hollow items
  2. Cycles per day and pack sizes
  3. Water and drain connections available on site
  4. Voltage, frequency and plug type
  5. Test needs, such as Bowie-Dick and vacuum leak test programs

Send these details with your inquiry and we will reply with the HP-P19 data sheet and a quotation.

Frequently asked questions

+What is a pulse vacuum sterilizer?

It is a steam sterilizer that removes air by alternating vacuum pulls with steam injections before the sterilization phase. Repeating the pulses drives air out of wrapped packs, porous materials and lumens, so steam can contact every surface. Many designs also use vacuum after sterilization to dry the load.

+Gravity vs pre-vacuum autoclave: which one do I need?

If you sterilize only unwrapped solid instruments, glassware and many lab loads, a gravity unit can do the job. If you process wrapped sets, textiles or hollow instruments, choose a pre-vacuum or pulse vacuum model such as HP-P19, because trapped air stops steam from reaching the surface.

+What tests does a vacuum autoclave need?

Common routine tests are a daily air-removal and steam-penetration test (Bowie-Dick type) for porous loads, a periodic vacuum leak test, chemical indicators in every pack and biological indicators at the interval your protocol sets. Confirm which test programs HP-P19 offers on its data sheet.

+Vertical or horizontal pulse vacuum autoclave?

Vertical models load from the top and fit smaller rooms and budgets. Horizontal pulse vacuum autoclaves load from the front, take trolleys and larger volumes, and suit central sterile departments. HP-P19 is the vertical option; our horizontal range starts at HP-N36.
