HP-P08 vertical steam sterilizer, standard version

HP-P08 Vertical Steam Sterilizer (Standard)

HP-P08 is the second Normal (standard) vertical steam sterilizer in our range, for general clinic, ward and laboratory sterilization.

Price, lead time and documents for your market are confirmed in the quotation.

Key takeaways

  • HP-P08 is the second of four Normal (standard) vertical steam sterilizers, HP-P07 to HP-P10.
  • Vertical autoclave uses include clinic instruments, laboratory glassware and media, and waste decontamination.
  • The Normal and Dry versions share one product photo; the version name tells them apart and the data sheet confirms the details.

HP-P08 is the second model in the Normal version of our vertical steam sterilizer line. The upright, top-loading chamber makes this vertical steam autoclave a practical all-round unit for clinics, wards and laboratories with limited space.

The Normal (HP-P07 to HP-P10) and Dry (HP-P11 to HP-P14) versions are shown with the same product photo on our site; the version name is what separates them. If your loads must come out dry, compare HP-P08 with HP-P12 before ordering.

Key Features

  • Upright steam chamber, loaded from the top
  • Normal (standard) version, model HP-P08
  • General-purpose steam sterilization for heat-tolerant items
  • Model data sheet with every quotation

Frequently asked questions

+What are the main uses of a vertical autoclave?

Sterilizing heat- and moisture-tolerant instruments, glassware, media and linen, and decontaminating infectious waste. Clinics, hospital wards, laboratories and research institutes use vertical models because they load from the top and take little floor space.

+Vacuum vs non-vacuum autoclave: what is the difference?

A non-vacuum (gravity) autoclave relies on steam to push air out, so it suits unwrapped solid items and many lab loads. A vacuum autoclave removes air with a pump before sterilizing, so steam can penetrate wrapped packs, porous loads and hollow instruments. It usually costs more and needs routine air-removal tests.

+How long does an autoclave cycle take?

The holding time at 121 °C is commonly 15 minutes or more, but the full cycle also includes heat-up, exhaust and any drying, so total time depends on the load and the machine. Liquids and large loads take longer. HP-P08 cycle data is on its data sheet.

+Can you autoclave wet instruments?

Instruments can go in damp, but they must be cleaned of blood and debris first, because soil shields microorganisms from steam. Items that will be stored after sterilization should come out dry; if that matters, choose a model with a drying function such as HP-P12.
