HOPE INTERNATIONAL

Shipping policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

HOPE INTERNATIONAL supplies medical equipment and consumables to distributors, dealers, hospitals, clinics and other business buyers. This website has no online checkout. Every shipment is arranged against a written quotation, so this page explains how shipping works in general, and the quotation for your order always takes precedence.

How shipping is quoted

Send an inquiry with the models, the quantity per model, the destination country and port or delivery address, and your preferred Incoterms rule. The quotation states the price, the Incoterms rule, the shipping method, the MOQ and the lead time for your order. Lead time depends on the models, quantities and destination, so it is confirmed per order rather than published here.

Shipping methods

Orders ship by sea freight, as a full container (FCL) or consolidated cargo (LCL), or by air freight, depending on volume, weight and destination. Mixed orders, for example beds, wheelchairs, sterilizers and monitors, can be planned into one container; tell us the mix and we return a loading plan with the quotation.

Some products cannot travel by every method or to every destination because of carriage or import rules, for example devices that contain lithium batteries. Any such restriction is confirmed with the quotation.

Delivery terms and risk

The Incoterms rule named in the quotation, for example FOB or CIF, defines the place of delivery, which party arranges and pays for main carriage and cargo insurance, and when risk passes to the buyer. You may use your own freight forwarder where the agreed rule allows it.

Export documents

A commercial invoice and packing list are issued with every export shipment, together with the bill of lading or air waybill for the shipping method used. The HS code on the commercial invoice is confirmed by our export team for your destination. Certificates, declarations of conformity, test reports and other documents your importer, regulator or tender requires are confirmed for the specific model and destination with the quotation.

Import clearance, duties and registration

Unless the quotation states otherwise, the buyer or its forwarder handles import customs clearance and pays import duties, taxes and local charges at destination. Medical devices may need registration, an import license or local labeling in the destination country. The importer of record is responsible for these, and we supply the documents listed in the quotation to support them.

Packing and tracking

Goods are shipped in export packing. Packing data per unit and per container is confirmed with the quotation. After dispatch we send copies of the shipping documents and the tracking, flight or vessel details.

Damage or shortage on arrival

Check the goods on arrival and note any visible damage or shortage on the delivery receipt. Report it to us in writing with photos and the packing list reference. Claims are handled under the terms of your order and, where cargo insurance applies, with the insurer.
