This collection lists every electric hospital bed we supply to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and DME distributors: four five-function models and three three-function models, HP-S01 to HP-S07. It is the electric part of our hospital beds range, where the manual crank beds HP-S08 to HP-S16, the examination tables and ward accessories such as IV poles and bedside cabinets are listed.

How to choose an electric hospital bed

  • Number of functions. The function count is the number of powered movements. HP-S01 to HP-S04 have five electric functions; the product images of HP-S03 and HP-S04 mark back lifting, knee lifting, combined back and knee, forward and backward tilting and integral lift. HP-S05 to HP-S07 have three electric functions, which on beds of this type typically cover the backrest, knee section and bed height. Choose five functions where staff need head-down or head-up tilt, for example in recovery or critical care. The confirmed movement list of each model is on the specification sheet sent with the quotation.
  • ICU layout or ward layout. HP-S02 (five functions) and HP-S06 (three functions) are the ICU beds: four-section split side rails, control keys on a head-end rail, a hand pendant and an enclosed column base that covers the lifting mechanism. HP-S03 and HP-S05 use an open lifting frame on four castors for general wards, clinics and care homes.
  • Side rails and controls. HP-S01 and HP-S03 have split side rails with control keys on the head-end rail; HP-S02 and HP-S06 have four-section split rails; HP-S04 and HP-S07 have bar-type side rails. HP-S01, HP-S02, HP-S03, HP-S05, HP-S06 and HP-S07 are shown with a hand pendant, HP-S01 adds foot-pedal switches, and HP-S04 is shown with a crank handle at the foot end whose function we confirm on request. Rail material is confirmed on the specification sheet.
  • Weighing. HP-S01 is the only bed in the range with a built-in weighing scale, so ICU and ward staff can check a patient's weight in bed instead of moving the patient to a separate scale. Scale range and graduation are stated on the specification sheet.
  • Deck and base. HP-S04 has a long-hole perforated deck and HP-S07 a round-hole perforated deck, which let air circulate under the mattress. HP-S01, HP-S02 and HP-S06 have a covered or enclosed base; HP-S03 and HP-S05 have an open lifting frame. Castors and the brake system are confirmed per model with the quotation.
  • Home care and rental. HP-S07 is positioned for home care, DME dealers and rental fleets: three functions, a hand pendant and bar-type side rails, with an alternating pressure mattress available on request. Bed assist rails and bedside cabinets can be quoted with the bed.
  • Power and options. Tell us the mains voltage and plug type of the destination. A backup battery and a CPR quick release are confirmed per model with the quotation; name them in your inquiry if your tender requires them.
  • Load and size. Safe working load, deck size, height range and packed dimensions are stated on the specification sheet sent with the quotation; we do not publish unverified figures.

Frequently asked questions

+What is the difference between a 3 function and a 5 function electric hospital bed?

Three-function beds (HP-S05, HP-S06, HP-S07) power the adjustments made most often, typically backrest, knee section and height. Five-function beds (HP-S01 to HP-S04) add head-down and head-up tilt for recovery and critical care. Suppliers count functions differently, so compare the movement list on each specification sheet, not only the number.

+Which electric beds in the range are ICU beds?

HP-S02 (five functions) and HP-S06 (three functions) use the ICU layout: four-section split side rails, control keys on the head-end rail, a hand pendant and an enclosed column base. Choose HP-S02 when your protocols need tilt positions, and HP-S01 when an in-bed weighing scale is also required.

+Do you have an electric hospital bed with a built-in scale?

Yes. HP-S01 is a five-function electric bed with a weighing system built into the frame, so staff can check a patient's weight without moving the patient to a separate scale. The scale range and graduation are stated on the specification sheet sent with the quotation.

+Which model suits home care or rental fleets?

HP-S07 is positioned for home care, DME dealers and rental fleets: three electric functions, a hand pendant, a round-hole perforated deck and bar-type side rails. Tell us the mains voltage and plug type for the destination and whether the bed should be packed for home delivery and assembly.

+How much does an electric hospital bed cost?

Price depends on the number of motors and functions, the control box, rail design, deck, options such as a scale or backup battery, the mattress, order quantity and freight. We do not publish list prices. Send the quantity and destination and we will quote the models with shipping options.

+Which documents come with an electric hospital bed order?

Certificates, declarations of conformity and test reports for the specific product and destination market are provided with the quotation, together with the specification sheet of each model. Tell us the destination country so the document set matches your tender, registration or import requirements.
