No. Intubation is the procedure of placing a tube in the windpipe; the ventilator is the machine that then moves air through that tube. Ventilators can also be used with masks in non-invasive modes if the model supports them.
+How do you set up a ventilator circuit?
Connect the inspiratory limb from the ventilator outlet through the humidifier, or fit an HME at the patient end, connect the expiratory limb back to the expiratory port, fit the Y-piece and filters, then run the circuit or leak test before connecting a patient. Follow the HP-M06 manual.
