Rollator Walkers and Folding Walkers: Rollators with Seat, Wheeled Walkers, Knee Walker and Gait Trainer

This collection lists every rollator walker and folding walker we supply to DME dealers, pharmacies, rehabilitation centers and hospital discharge programs: six rollators with loop hand brakes, a steerable knee walker and seven walkers, from the 2.3 kg standard frame to a gait trainer with underarm supports. It is the walking-aid part of our mobility aids range, which also covers crutches and walking canes.

How to choose a rollator walker or folding walker

• Rollator or walker. A rollator rolls on all its wheels, has loop hand brakes and usually a seat, so the user walks at a natural pace and sits to rest (HP-AE01 to AE05; HP-AE07 has no seat). A walker is lifted or glided forward: HP-AF01 and AF03 stand on four rubber tips, while the front-wheeled models HP-AF02, AF04 and AF05, called a rolling walker in US usage, glide on two front wheels with rear rubber tips and no hand brakes. HP-AF06 adds a commode seat and bucket, and HP-AF07 is a gait trainer that supports the user at the armpits.
• Frame material and weight. The rollators HP-AE01 to AE05 and the walkers HP-AF01 to AF06 have aluminum frames, anodized on HP-AF01. Walkers weigh 2.3 kg (HP-AF01), 2.6 kg (AF02), 2.8 kg (AF04), 3.2 kg (AF03), 3.8 kg (AF05) and 4.7 kg (AF06); rollators 7.4 to 9.5 kg; the HP-AE06 knee walker 9.8 kg and the HP-AF07 gait trainer 12.7 kg. The frame material of HP-AE06, AE07 and AF07 is on the spec sheet sent with the quotation.
• Weight capacity. The load rating of each model is confirmed with the quotation, so state the target user weight when you request one.
• Folding and packing. HP-AF01, AF02 and AF04 fold flat and ship four per carton; HP-AF03, AF05 and AF06 fold and ship two per carton. HP-AE01, AE02, AE04, AE05 and AE07 fold, and every rollator ships in its own carton; HP-AE02 packs to 66 × 27.5 × 37 cm, the smallest in the range.
• Handle and seat height. Match the handle to the user's wrist height: HP-AE01 adjusts with one button from 84.5 to 102.5 cm, the highest setting in the range, and HP-AE04 and AE05 cover 78–89 cm for shorter users. HP-AF01, AF02 and AF04 adjust by push button, for example 77–95 cm on HP-AF01. Seat heights: 45.5–63.5 cm on HP-AF03, 50–60 cm on HP-AF05, 45–62.5 cm on HP-AF06 and 51–66 cm on HP-AF07.
• Wheels and brakes. The rollators use loop hand brakes; HP-AE04 runs on 8-inch casters and HP-AE07 on three wheels for tight turns. HP-AE03 and AE05 add footrests, so a companion can push the seated user as a transport chair. The HP-AE06 knee walker has four wheels, a steerable handlebar and a hand brake, and HP-AF07 has wheels with brakes so the therapist can set the frame to roll or hold.
• Storage and extras. Storage bag on HP-AE01, AE02, AE03, AE06 and AE07; shopping basket on HP-AE04 and AE05; a tray included as standard on HP-AF04; a removable commode bucket on HP-AF06, which also works as a bedside commode.
