This collection lists every operating table we supply to hospital operating theatres, day-surgery centers, eye hospitals and medical equipment distributors: two motorized electric tables, two electro-hydraulic tables, three ophthalmic tables, two integrated tables and one general table. It is the table part of our operating room equipment range, where the surgical lights and anesthesia machines are listed.
How to choose an operating table
- Drive. HP-U01 and HP-U02 are motorized electric tables with five and four electric functions. HP-U09 and HP-U10 are electro-hydraulic: an electric motor drives a hydraulic pump and hydraulic cylinders move the table, which gives smooth powered positioning from a handset without foot pumping. HP-U05 is mechanical, with a foot pedal at the base and no mains connection. HP-U12 and HP-U13 are pictured with handwheel adjustment; the drive of HP-U11 and HP-U12 is confirmed on the data sheet.
- Specialty. HP-U01, HP-U02, HP-U09, HP-U10, HP-U11, HP-U12 and HP-U13 are multipurpose tables for general surgery and gynecology; the further specialties each model is listed for, such as urology, ENT, trauma or obstetrics, are on its product page, and HP-U10 is the multifunctional configuration for theatres that switch between specialties. HP-U03, HP-U04 and HP-U05 are ophthalmic tables with a head rest or head support at the head end, where the surgeon sits under the microscope.
- Imaging. HP-U01 has a film function, so X-ray films can be taken through the tabletop during surgery. HP-U02 has no film function and no tabletop translation (longitudinal slide), which makes it the simpler choice where imaging is not done on the table. A radiolucent top or C-arm access for the other models is confirmed with the quotation.
- Control position. HP-U11 is side-operated, with the position controls on the side of the table within reach of the surgical team. HP-U12 is head-operated, with handwheels at the head end so the anesthetist or circulating nurse can adjust the table without entering the sterile field. HP-U01 and HP-U03 are pictured with a corded hand control, HP-U10 with a handset and HP-U13 with a crank handwheel.
- Number of electric functions. Five-function electric tables usually power height, backrest, Trendelenburg, lateral tilt and one further movement. HP-U01 has five electric functions, HP-U02 four, HP-U03 two and HP-U04 one, on tables of this type usually the height. The exact powered movements of each model are listed on its data sheet.
- Accessories. The product photos show leg supports on HP-U01, HP-U02, HP-U10, HP-U12 and HP-U13, arm boards on HP-U02, HP-U05, HP-U10 and HP-U13, an anesthesia screen frame on HP-U02, HP-U10 and HP-U12, shoulder supports on HP-U01, split leg plates on HP-U09 and a head rest or head support on the ophthalmic tables. The standard accessory list and optional items such as a kidney bridge or orthopedic and traction attachments are confirmed in the quotation.
- Size, load and power. Tabletop length, width and height range, materials and safe working load are listed on the data sheet of each model. For powered tables, tell us the mains voltage, frequency and plug type and whether a backup battery is required.

Surgical tables for hospital theatres and distributors
We quote each operating table by model and quantity, with the voltage, accessory set and mattress confirmed for each order, and we check tender specification sheets line by line against the model data sheet and mark any item that needs confirmation. Our export sales of hospital beds, oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, laboratory and surgical equipment run under the group's ISO 13485:2016 / ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Certificates, declarations of conformity and test reports for the specific product and destination market are provided with the quotation. When you request a quote, tell us the models, the quantity per theatre, the destination country and the documents your tender or import registration requires.
Frequently asked questions
+What are the types of operating tables?
By drive: mechanical, electro-hydraulic and fully electric. By specialty: general, ophthalmic, orthopedic, urology and obstetric. This collection has motorized electric (HP-U01, HP-U02), electro-hydraulic (HP-U09, HP-U10), ophthalmic (HP-U03 to HP-U05), integrated side- and head-operated (HP-U11, HP-U12) and general (HP-U13) tables; the obstetric operating table HP-T09 is listed in the operating room collection.
+What is the difference between an electric and an electro-hydraulic operating table?
A motorized electric table such as HP-U01 or HP-U02 moves each section with electric drives. An electro-hydraulic table such as HP-U09 or HP-U10 uses an electric motor to drive a hydraulic pump, and hydraulic cylinders move the table, which gives smooth movement and high lifting force. Both are set from a handset or hand control.
+Which operating table includes a film function for intraoperative X-ray?
HP-U01. Its film function means X-ray films can be taken through the tabletop, which is useful when imaging is part of the procedure. HP-U02 has no film function and no tabletop slide. Tell us your imaging plans (film cassette, C-arm access or none) when you request a quote.
+Which operating tables work without electricity?
HP-U05 is a mechanical eye operating table with no motors and no mains connection. HP-U12 is pictured with head-end handwheels and a base foot pedal, and HP-U13 with a crank handwheel; the drive of HP-U11 and HP-U12 is confirmed on the data sheet. These models suit district hospitals and sites with unreliable power.
+Can you quote an operating table against a tender specification?
Yes. Send the tender specification and we will check each line against the model data sheet and mark any item that needs confirmation. Tell us the import country as well, because the HS code on the commercial invoice is confirmed by our export team for your destination.
+What size is an operating table and what is it made of?
Tabletop length, width and height range vary by model and are listed on each data sheet. Most tables have a steel frame, stainless steel base and column covers and a foam mattress with a washable cover; imaging tables add radiolucent top sections. Materials for each model are confirmed on the data sheet.
